You may come anytime on either Registration Day to register for the PHS Instrumental Music Program. Click here for additional details, fees and required forms.

Emerald Brigade Marching Band Students
New or returning marchnig band students must make an appointment for a Uniform Fitting on Registration Day. Click here for additional details, fees and required forms.

Contact Information Form
This year all PHS music students (Color Guard, Orchestra, Marching Band, Non-Marching Band) are required to fill out a Contact Information Form before coming to Registration Day and Uniform Fitting. Please click here to fill out the form online.

The purpose of the Poway High School Music Boosters is to promote and encourage instrumental music and support the associated activities related to the success of the Poway High School Instrumental Music Program. Volunteer Want Ads

The Boosters will have sign up sheets at Registration (Aug. 15/16) for various "job" opportunities for parents during marching season. The compensation and benefits are priceless - great times with great kids. Click for details.

Drum Majors Receive Honors

Drum majors from all over the Southwest met at UCSD for drum major and band leadership training. Our own drum majors, Haley Stegman and Sierra Johnson, left camp well-decorated and with job offers for upcoming seasons.

Marching Band Recruitment Video

This video is a way for incoming freshman and their parents to understand more about the marching band and hopefully help them decide whether or not they would like to become a part of the organization. Students should know that marching band is one of the best ways to not only continue excelling at their instrument but also for making great friendships. Click here for video.

Band Camp 2010

Emerald Brigade Band Camp is coming soon. Students learn and practice the upcoming season's field show and make lots of friends!

End of Band Camp Concert
Monday, Aug. 23, 6pm
Parents and friends please join us in the quad by the band room as we celebrate the end of band camp and the start of a new marching band season. The Emerald Brigade will perform the music from this years field show. You will also have an opportunity to meet the band directors and student leadership.

Picture Day
Sat, Aug. 28, 7:00 a.m.

Bandos get ready for Picture Day. We'll be taking photos of Groups, Sections, Leadership, and the Senior Class as well as Individual and Buddy photos. Photo orders with payment must made on Picture Day.
Students need to be ready, in uniform, by 7:30 a.m.

Rehearse-A-Thon
Sat, Sept. 11, 9 a.m.
Our annnual fundraiser is a day-long event where music and marching skills are learned, practiced and perfected. Funds collected will be used to defray the costs not covered by school district funding.
