Poway High School Instrumental Music Program

PIFT Volunteers & Donations Needed - Sign Up Now!

We still have some very crucial volunteer spots that need to be filled. Remember, PIFT is the biggest fundraiser for the PHS Instrumental Music program (Marching Band, Color Guard, Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band). PIFT proceeds are used to fund the program all year long.

Parents, alumni, relatives, and friends - sign up to help on the PIFT 2015 Adult Volunteer Sign-Up List.

Food donations are needed for the PIFT Hospitality Suite. The Hospitality Suite is responsible for feeding the judges, band directors, and their music staff all day long. Sign up to donate on the PIFT 2015 Hospitality Donation Sign-Up List.

    Band students from Meadowbrook and Twin Peaks Middle Schools and their families will be joining us to watch the Thursday evening field show rehearsal. It is a great opportunity to get the middle schoolers excited about marching band and for their parents to meet the PHSMB family. The rehearsal will be followed by the traditional dessert bar! Please bring a your favorite dessert to share. Napkins and forks will be provided.

    Home Game - PHS vs. Mt. Carmel & Middle School Band Night

    5:30 PM Call Time / 7:00 PM Kick-off

    Enjoy the Emerald Brigade half-time show AND cheer on the Titans! Band students from Twin Peaks and Meadowbrook Middle Schools will be marching in with the Emerald Brigade, and joining them in the stands.

    Marchers, remember to bring your black marching shoes and to wear a black T-shirt, black shorts, and black socks, and please - NO MAKEUP. If you have a black EB sweatshirt or jacket (green POWAY on the back), please bring it to lend to the middle schoolers for the evening and make them feel welcome.

    Parents, please make sure that your child eats BEFORE call time. All Band and Color Guard members are not permitted to eat and drink (other than water) while in uniform.

    The Emerald Brigade will be performing their "Old Glory" field show on Saturday, October 24 at the Mt. Carmel HS Tournament of Bands. They are scheduled to perform in the 6A division at 8:15 PM. The awards ceremony is at 9:00 PM.

    General Admission for afternoon/evening field shows:

    • $15 - Adult
    • $10 - Senior
    • $8 - Child (under 12)
    • Free - Child (under 3)
