Volunteer for shift at PIFT

PIFT is an "all-hands-on-deck" event! We need EVERY parent and EVERY student to work at PIFT wherever and whenever they can. Ask your relatives, friends, and neighbor to help out, too. Only a few hours of work on just one day will go far in ensuring the success of the ENTIRE music program (Marching Band, Color Guard, Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band). Your time will show our kids how much you value the efforts that they have put into their love of music.

Hopitality Donation List

Donations are needed for PIFT Hospitality. Our Hospitality room (K-1) is one of the best around (yes, we take pride in that). The Hospitality room is where the judges, directors, and band staff can go to take a break, relax and have a bit to eat during their day at PIFT. Please help us continue to have an incredible Hospitality room for the visiting directors and judges who spend their Saturday at Poway High.

We need food, gift cards, and monetary donations. Please click on the big green button below sign up to donate food and drink items to Hopitality. Gift cards to Costco, Albertsons, Vons, Stater Brothers, or Sprouts are also much appreciated. Gift cards and monetary donations (cash or checks made out check to "PHSMB") will be used to purchase additional food and drink.

All non perishables items can be dropped off in N-1 starting Wednesday, October 18. All perishable items need to be delivered to K1 by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21. Please drop gift cards and money to the green basket in the directors' office in an envelope labeled "PIFT" by Thursday, October 13.

PIFT Borrow-for-the-Day List

PIFT is our biggest event, so we need help from EVERYONE. If you can lend a cooler, folding table, folding chair, pop-up, outdoor extension cord, or bar stool for PIFT, it will be much appreciated. Please click on the big green button below to sign up. You will NOT need to register an account or keep a password to sign up, and your email address will not be shared with anyone. You can drop off your items in Band Room (N-1) anytime between Wednesday, October 18 and Friday night, October 20. You can pick them up Saturday night after PIFT clean-up (approximately 10:30 p.m.) or Sunday morning at the Band Room between 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon. Be sure to label your items with your name and phone number. Thank you!

PIFT 2017 T-Shirts

Thursday, October 12, 2017 - SHIRT DISTRIBUTION

Congratulations to Elizabeth Boennighausen for winning the PIFT T-shirt design contest! Elizabeth's beautiful design perfectly captures the Emerald Brigade's 2017 field show theme of "Color Study"! You can see Elizabeth's winning design below. We had an outstanding response to this year's contest - there were 15 awesome entries. Thank you to everyone who entered.

Pre-order shirts will be distributed on Thursday, October 19 at evening rehearsal. If you weren't able to pre-order a shirt, a limited number will be sold at PIFT for $25, however, it cannot be guaranteed that your size will be available.
