2010/2011 PHS Instrumental Music Program Registration Day

Welcome to the 2010-2011 Poway High School Instrumental Music Program. As a PHS Music Program student, you will enjoy a rich, rewarding, and varied experience in music with membership in one or more of our ensembles:
  • Emerald Brigade Marchnig Band
  • Orchestra
  • Non-Marching Band (Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band)
  • Color Guard

Step 1 - Note Registration Day
Registration Day for all PHS Instrumental Music Program students will be Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm and Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, 11:30 am - 3:30 pm in the PHS Band Room N1.
  • Color Guard, Orchestra and Non-Marching Band students can come anytime on either Registration Day to register for the PHS Instrumental Music Program.

  • Emerald Brigade Marching Band students (new or returning), please click here for information regarding Registration Day and Uniform Fitting appointments.

Step 2 - Contact Information Form
Please click here to fill out the new online Contact Information Form. This form is required for all PHS Instrumental Music Program students and must be filled out before coming to registration.


Step 3 - Download Electronic Forms
Forms A, B, C, E must be filled out by all PHS Instrumental Music Program students and brought with you to Registration. Click here to access the forms. Please be sure to bring all completed forms to registration.

If you need assistance filling out the online Contact Information Form or if you absolutely cannot come for Registration Day on either date, please contact PHSMB Executive VP Richard Stegman , 858-486-1144.

We look forward to welcoming back our returning Bando families and look forward to meeting our new Bando families.


Volunteers are the Foundation of the Music Program
Upon registering your student in the music program you are a Booster parent and part of the Poway High School Music Booster (PHSMB) organization. We have a wide variety of volunteer and fundraising opportunities for students and parents. Sign-up sheets will be at Registration for the many volunteer positions such as chaperoning at performances, inspecting uniforms, hair and shako (band hat) and washing uniforms. Your involvement to help support all of our students is highly encouraged!

There will also be sign-ups to help with various fundraising activities for you to take advantage of to help offset costs of the music program. All parents are encouraged to come to the monthly meetings to stay informed about music performances and other events.
